The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Digre got free with Niklas Aanes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Sturle Foss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tore Remmen was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Tore Remmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorbjørn Valstad in the 13th minute of the match. Erlend Thorbjørnsen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Tommy Klæboe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overbygden FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Klæboe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Klæboe in the 17th minute of play forced Toxic City's goalkeeper Tore Remmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Aanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Hellenes in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Toxic City's goal looked a bit too open when Runar Elvebakk came free, but Tore Remmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Olav Støa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tommy Klæboe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overbygden FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Klæboe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tore Remmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Runar Elvebakk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tore Remmen. Toxic City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Elvebakk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Sturle Foss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tore Remmen. In the 38th match minute, Toxic City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Todal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sturle Foss in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tore Remmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tore Remmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorbjørn Valstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Overbygden FF's Sturle Foss got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Emil Lunder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tore Remmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Tobias Hellenes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sturle Foss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Toxic City's Tore Remmen got control of the ball when Emil Lunder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Sturle Foss reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tore Remmen. The goal made the score 0-5. Toxic City's Tore Remmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Toxic City from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Tore Remmen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Overbygden FF's Niklas Aanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Hellenes in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute Tobias Hellenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Aanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Thorbjørn Valstad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tore Remmen. Toxic City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorbjørn Valstad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Toxic City's Tore Remmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Toxic City from getting a goal against them. Tore Remmen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Overbygden FF's Thorbjørn Valstad. But to his dismay, Thorbjørn Valstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 80thth minute of the game Sturle Foss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toxic City's Tore Remmen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Toxic City booed when Overbygden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Klæboe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Toxic City's Tore Remmen got control of the ball when Emil Lunder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thorbjørn Valstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tore Remmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tore Remmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Lunder went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Sturle Foss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Toxic City getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Emil Riise hit a great ball. When the match was over Overbygden FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Toxic City throughout the match.
