Gjengstøen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiasco da Gama the free kick. Stefan Åsebø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Gunnar Forbord in the 10th minute of the match. If Arthur Tjelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reidar Juell's late challenge caught a Fiasco da Gama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jørgen Log showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Rekstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tor-Henrik Skogen tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jørgen Log. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 64th minute. The throw-in from Reidar Juell in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fiasco da Gama's Dag Frøshaug. After 80 played minutes Fiasco da Gama got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Aasgaard. Gjengstøen's Jan Jelstad shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stefan Åsebø but with some difficulty. Arthur Tjelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Tjelle in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jørgen Log saved Gjengstøen from getting behind. In the 97th minute Arthur Tjelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørgen Log saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fiasco da Gama fully deserved thier win.
