SUDEL's Steinar Nyhus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SUDEL from getting a goal against them. Steinar Nyhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tore-Andre Ellingsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SUDEL's Steinar Nyhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Dehli in the 15th minute of play. Steinar Nyhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Dehli in the 20th minute of the match. Truls Hervik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Rassen's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Truls Hervik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Rassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Tor-Kristian Slåen in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SUDEL's Ove Gjøen. SUDEL's Steinar Nyhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Dammen in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, one of SUDEL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SUDEL. The goalkeeper, Steinar Nyhus, was totally fooled by Gloppen IF's Henrik Bjørnevik, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mons Mahmood made a kick off. Steinar Nyhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Ryen in the 53rd minute of play. Bruno Gama hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gloppen IF's Henrik Bjørnevik got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Christoffer Dehli fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gloppen IF's protests and gave Christoffer Dehli a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gloppen IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Christoffer Dehli hit a great ball. Steinar Nyhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Dammen in the 74th minute of play. When Mons Mahmood, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Truls Hervik was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stian Bratberg got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sture Hellerud. Steinar Nyhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Dammen in the 82nd minute of play. Gloppen IF were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after SUDEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrik Bjørnevik took the corner. SUDEL's Bruno Gama managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henrik Bjørnevik in the 87 minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Gloppen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mons Mahmood came free, but Truls Hervik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasmus Ryen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Tor-Kristian Slåen made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SUDEL's Ove Gjøen. SUDEL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
