Ole-Petter Fauske sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iver Bugten in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tore Remmen saved Toxic City from getting behind. The corner ended in Simen Larsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Toxic City's Tore Remmen did a great save. In the 18th minute, Christer Heiberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midtun Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Christer Heiberg scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tore Remmen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Hellenes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Roy Jama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toxic City. The audience was convinced that Tobias Hellenes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy Jama was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Toxic City were awarded a corner. Christian Digre went to the cornerflag to take it. Toxic City's Christian Digre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roy Jama in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Toxic City's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Heiberg came free, but Tore Remmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Christer Heiberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midtun Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tore Remmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trond Egeland in the 37th minute of the match. Roy Jama made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tobias Hellenes sent off a good shot on target. Christian Digre took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Jama. Roy Jama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Tore Remmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iver Bugten in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Hellenes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mathias Todal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Midtun Fc booed when Toxic City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Olav Støa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trond Egeland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tore Remmen came out and tried to block the shot, but Trond Egeland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute of the match Christian Digre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Jama showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Toxic City booed when Midtun Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Petter Fauske didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trond Egeland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tore Remmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Trond Egeland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tore Remmen. Toxic City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trond Egeland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. After 77 played minutes Toxic City got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Hellenes. 79 minutes into the match, Toxic City's goalkeeper Tore Remmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christer Heiberg. Tore Remmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Heiberg in the 82nd minute. Roy Jama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Trond Egeland was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Midtun Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Trond Egeland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tore Remmen. That made the score 1-7 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Trond Egeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Riise during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Midtun Fc booed when Toxic City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Riise didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Toxic City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Midtun Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
