If Tom Einarsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Mathias Liknes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halvard Håvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Pollen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Liknes came free, but Halvard Håvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Foldrøyhamn booed when Pollen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Einarsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Axel Eckhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Einarsen in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karsten Norli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karsten Norli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Einarsen in the 20th minute of the match. Ole-Einar Haugen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Einarsen struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Karsten Norli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pollen FK. Pollen FK's Halvard Håvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Liknes in the 27th minute of play. Halvard Håvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Svenning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Næsheim hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Foldrøyhamn's Mathias Liknes got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Jan Hurlen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Mathias Liknes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pollen FK's Halvard Håvik. Halvard Håvik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stian Svenning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halvard Håvik having to interfere. Halvard Håvik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Liknes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Foldrøyhamn booed when Pollen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjur Rakvåg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halvard Håvik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hans-Erik Loe. Halvard Håvik made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mathias Liknes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Foldrøyhamn's Stian Svenning got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hans-Erik Loe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Tom Einarsen in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Stian Svenning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halvard Håvik having to interfere. With a little luck, Pollen FK's Halvard Håvik got control of the ball when Mathias Liknes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pollen FK booed when Foldrøyhamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore Garshol didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Svenning in the 95th minute of play forced Pollen FK's goalkeeper Halvard Håvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pollen FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Foldrøyhamn's performance. The match ended with a win for Foldrøyhamn.
