Halvdan Carlson was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 28th minute, Halvdan Carlson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Verdiløse Menn booed when Pollen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Hurlen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Fonn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Hvidsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halvard Håvik having to interfere. If Jan Hurlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Raa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Einarsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Einarsen scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Raa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Storsveen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Leikvoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Einarsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Leikvoll in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Raa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Pollen FK's Mads Dirdal got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Henrik Hvidsten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Halvard Håvik. Pollen FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ole-Einar Haugen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but John Raa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Verdiløse Menn's Emil Naustdal got a free kick in the 70th minute. With his leg John Raa managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Pollen FK's Tom Einarsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tom Einarsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Raa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Landsverk in the 76th minute. Jim Leikvoll charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Leikvoll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Pollen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Leikvoll to maneuver through the defense. Tom Einarsen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to FC Verdiløse Menn getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Helge Corneliussen hit a great ball. Tom Einarsen didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Pollen FK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! John Raa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Einarsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Andreas Landsverk got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 91 played minutes Pollen FK got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Landsverk. In the 92nd minute of the match Henrik Hvidsten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Halvard Håvik skillfully saved the ball. Jim Leikvoll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but John Raa made a huge save. John Raa made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Stig Selvik sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Storsveen in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halvard Håvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
