Kenneth Nordahl hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kåsmolia's zone, Victor Mahmood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Nekstad came out of the goal and Victor Mahmood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 minutes, Kenneth Sommerseth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kåsmolia and the Vardaberg BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kåsmolia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Muggerud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eskil Hoel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kåsmolia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
