Spectators: 8506 (Terracing: 6380, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) Joachim Follestad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Hoel having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match Lost in pace got a corner. Vardaberg BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joachim Follestad ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vardaberg BK's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Aandal during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andreas Aandal kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Vardaberg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Langhelle to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Follestad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Hoel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adam Hussain hit a great ball. Eskil Hoel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad. But to his dismay, Stig Grønstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stig Grønstads short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Eskil Hoel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joachim Follestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vardaberg BK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Stig Grønstad sped through Vardaberg BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eskil Hoel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Grønstad got free with Eskil Hoel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Stig Grønstad in the 48thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eskil Hoel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Grønstad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Stig Grønstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Hoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joachim Follestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eskil Hoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Egil Ulvin in the 56th minute of the match. Eskil Hoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Grønstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lost in pace fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stig Grønstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Vardaberg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Grønstad came free, but Eskil Hoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Follestad scored 6-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Hoel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 minutes of play, Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Hoel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joachim Follestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon-Egil Ulvin in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stig Grønstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Hoel was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, Lost in pace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Grønstad to maneuver through the defense. Stig Grønstad struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Eskil Hoel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lost in pace. Andreas Aandal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Lost in pace's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
