Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rune Muggerud took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ståle Kvarme. Ståle Kvarme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kåre Breistein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Breistein in the 26th minute of play forced Østabø's goalkeeper Ståle Kvarme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Breistein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rune Muggerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Østabø's Aleksander Gilje got a free kick in the 36th minute. Kåsmolia's Kåre Breistein got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arty Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ståle Kvarme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kåre Breistein struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ståle Kvarme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåsmolia.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kåre Breistein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Kåsmolia got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Andersen. Kåre Breistein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Kåre Breistein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Breistein was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kenneth Andersen hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jan Standal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lars Nekstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rune Muggerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Standal in the 81st minute of play. Rune Muggerud charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Muggerud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the match, Østabø's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Breistein came free, but Ståle Kvarme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Kåre Breistein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Kåsmolia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Østabø throughout the match.
