Spectators: 8582 (Terracing: 6437, Seating: 1974, VIP seats: 171) Arvid Bugge made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Yngvar Øvrum recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Slavcho Kanov. Yngvar Øvrum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alfred Klawki struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Halvor Le didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Stavanger. Halvor Le came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Stavanger's Javier Turi. But to his dismay, Javier Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Slavcho Kanov was a little too slow when Yngvar Øvrum got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Alfred Klawki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Klawki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halvor Le didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orest Bredun went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Curtis United's goal looked a bit too open when Gjermund Viste came free, but Halvor Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Javier Turi notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Curtis United's Halvor Le. Halvor Le was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Javier Turi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Legia Stavanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Turi couldn't finish the play. Curtis United's Halvor Le played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Turi in the 33rd minute of play. Slavcho Kanov made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Arvid Bugge sent off a good shot on target. With 35 minutes on the clock, Birk Kittilsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Birk Kittilsen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Legia Stavanger's Gjermund Viste tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Curtis United defense, Javier Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halvor Le. The Curtis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halvor Le should have stopped the shot. If Alfred Klawki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Legia Stavanger were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Turi made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Javier Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Stavanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halvor Le breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 minutes of play, Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halvor Le was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Curtis United's goalkeeper Halvor Le had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orest Bredun. Daniel Skulstad kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Javier Turi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-7 in the 72nd playminute. Legia Stavanger made a substitution. Abelardo Alonso replaced Deivid Capixaba. Alfred Klawki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Kristian Granlund came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gjermund Viste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Halvor Le tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halvor Le made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Passos in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Passos got free with Halvor Le in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halvor Le was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Klawki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-8 in the 88 minute of play. Legia Stavanger played a much better game than Curtis United and deserved their victory. The Curtis United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
