Spectators: 8491 (Terracing: 6369, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Lost in pace's Joachim Follestad got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Østabø's Ståle Kvarme got control of the ball when Stig Grønstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Øyvind Åsland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Stig Grønstad fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ståle Kvarme, passed just outside the right post. Øyvind Åsland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ståle Kvarme came out and tried to block the shot, but Øyvind Åsland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Østabø's Ståle Kvarme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Grønstad in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jo Grande took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ståle Kvarme to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Stig Grønstad put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ståle Kvarme. In the 23rd minute, Jo Grande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Myrdal's late challenge caught a Lost in pace's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Myrdal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Peter Myrdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Jo Grande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lost in pace fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Jo Grande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lost in pace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jo Grande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Øyvind Åsland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ståle Kvarme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ståle Kvarme. Ståle Kvarme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. A hard shot 38 in the game by Joachim Follestad from a close distance when the talented Ståle Kvarme managed to make a qualified save. Østabø's players were relieved. In the 39th minute, Tor-Arne Tangerud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lost in pace's Joachim Follestad got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lost in pace's Jo Grande was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 47th minute, Roald Nerheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes, Lost in pace's Øyvind Åsland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ståle Kvarme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lost in pace reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Standal was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Aage Reiersen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alexander Vegsund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jan Standal. Ståle Kvarme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Follestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Grønstad in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ståle Kvarme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Grønstad in the 57th minute of play forced Østabø's goalkeeper Ståle Kvarme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ståle Kvarme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Grønstad in the 59th minute of play. Ståle Kvarme came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad. But to his dismay, Stig Grønstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Stig Grønstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ståle Kvarme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Grande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ståle Kvarme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Grønstad in the 78th minute of play forced Østabø's goalkeeper Ståle Kvarme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Grønstad's late challenge caught a Østabø's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ståle Kvarme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Grønstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Østabø's Ståle Kvarme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Grønstad in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Jon-Egil Ulvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Østabø was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigurd Lunden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Follestad missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ståle Kvarme right hand side. Lost in pace walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
