The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eskil Hoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deivid Capixaba in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Vardaberg BK's Andreas Aandal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slavcho Kanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eskil Hoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alfred Klawki sped through Vardaberg BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eskil Hoel. 12 minutes into the game, Gjermund Viste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eskil Hoel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gjermund Viste scored 3-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Hoel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eskil Hoel was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Deivid Capixaba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Deivid Capixaba really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vardaberg BK from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Gjermund Viste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Hoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Klawki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskil Hoel having to make a save. 30 minutes into the game, Deivid Capixaba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eskil Hoel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vardaberg BK from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Deivid Capixaba made a precise shot to the right of Eskil Hoel. Vardaberg BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Javier Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eskil Hoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eskil Hoel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. Gjermund Viste struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eskil Hoel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Stavanger. With his leg Eskil Hoel managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deivid Capixaba got free with Eskil Hoel in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Alfred Klawki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Hoel. Vardaberg BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Klawki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finn-Christian Gjelsvik was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Capixaba in the 52nd minute of play forced Vardaberg BK's goalkeeper Eskil Hoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Klawki in the 53rd minute of play. Eskil Hoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Klawki in the 61st minute of the match. Eskil Hoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Klawki in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gjermund Viste notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Vardaberg BK's Eskil Hoel. Eskil Hoel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gjermund Viste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskil Hoel having to make a save. When Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vardaberg BK's goalie prevented a goal. Eskil Hoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Gjermund Viste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Eskil Hoel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Legia Stavanger made a substitution. Abelardo Alonso replaced Deivid Capixaba. After some careless play in the Vardaberg BK defense, Gjermund Viste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eskil Hoel. The Vardaberg BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eskil Hoel should have stopped the shot. Eskil Hoel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Passos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Humberto Passos sped through Vardaberg BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eskil Hoel. Eskil Hoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Klawki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legia Stavanger's Gjermund Viste got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Klawki in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eskil Hoel saved Vardaberg BK from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Vardaberg BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Klawki came free, but Eskil Hoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Legia Stavanger walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
