In the 5th minute of the match Jørgen Sveen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roald Skjelstad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sturle Dahl got free with Iver Aasberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Asgeir Figenschau struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Roald Skjelstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molde FKNorway. Iver Aasberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Sagmo in the 21st minute. Iver Aasberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Roth in the 23rd minute of the match. Iver Aasberg came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kovlands IF's Jonathan Øren. But to his dismay, Jonathan Øren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th minute Steffen Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iver Aasberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asgeir Figenschau in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roald Skjelstad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Kovlands IF's goal looked a bit too open when Asgeir Figenschau came free, but Roald Skjelstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Sagmo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Iver Aasberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovlands IF. A collision led to Kovlands IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Steffen Roth hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Asgeir Figenschau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roald Skjelstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Molde FKNorway's Iver Aasberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Øren in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Christian Sagmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iver Aasberg, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Steffen Roth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iver Aasberg was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Sagmo to strike the kick off in the second half. Iver Aasberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Kittilsen in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Christian Sagmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iver Aasberg. Molde FKNorway's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Sagmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Iver Aasberg came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Kovlands IF's Christian Sagmo. But to his dismay, Christian Sagmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Christian Sagmo sped through Molde FKNorway's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iver Aasberg. Iver Aasberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sagmo in the 69th minute of play. Jørgen Sveen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Christian Sagmo made a precise shot to the right of Iver Aasberg. Molde FKNorway's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Asgeir Figenschau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Roald Skjelstad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Kovlands IF's Roald Skjelstad got control of the ball when Asgeir Figenschau tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Molde FKNorway defense, Christian Sagmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iver Aasberg. The Molde FKNorway fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iver Aasberg should have stopped the shot. Iver Aasberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Sagmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kovlands IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
