An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Klawki in the 10th minute of play forced Kåsmolia's goalkeeper Lars Nekstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Alfred Klawki made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. The supporters of Kåsmolia booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gjermund Viste didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gjermund Viste came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Legia Stavanger fans jumped to their feet. Lars Nekstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 42nd minute of the match. Lars Nekstad came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki. But to his dismay, Alfred Klawki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Kåre Breistein made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Legia Stavanger's Gjermund Viste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfred Klawki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars Nekstad. That made the score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. With a little luck, Kåsmolia's Lars Nekstad got control of the ball when Alfred Klawki tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alfred Klawki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Lars Nekstad managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Legia Stavanger's Humberto Passos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
