Spectators: 8600 (Terracing: 6451, Seating: 1978, VIP seats: 171) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Morten Eidsvåg started the match with the kick off. When Jack Rolstad fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falkensten's protests and gave Jack Rolstad a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngvar Øvrum in the 3rd minute of play forced Falkensten's goalkeeper Kristian Kvandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristian Kvandal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngvar Øvrum in the 5th minute of the match. Tommy Ihlen's late challenge caught a Curtis United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Ihlen helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 minutes, Anton Bårdsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curtis United and the Falkensten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anton Bårdsen kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngvar Øvrum in the 14th minute of play forced Falkensten's goalkeeper Kristian Kvandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Curtis United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Geir Utne hit a great ball. Kristian Kvandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geir Utne in the 27th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Morten Eidsvåg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curtis United's Halvor Le was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halvor Le took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Rosland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arvid Bugge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Curtis United's Halvor Le got control of the ball when Marius Rosland tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Falkensten defense, Arvid Bugge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Kvandal. The Falkensten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Kvandal should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Arvid Bugge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Falkensten's Kristian Kvandal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Bugge in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Falkensten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Rønne to maneuver through the defense. Yngvar Øvrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Kristian Granlund scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Kvandal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Halvor Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Rosland in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Curtis United's goalkeeper Halvor Le had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marius Rosland. In the 81st minute, Marius Rosland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falkensten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Falkensten's Albert Omholt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Halvor Le. That made the score 2-2 after 85 minutes of play. In the 88th minute Per-Kristian Granlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Kvandal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Albert Omholt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falkensten's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Omholt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halvor Le breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Falkensten's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Bugge came free, but Kristian Kvandal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falkensten succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Curtis United had controlled the match.
