Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Bugge in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ståle Kvarme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Curtis United booed when Østabø was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Gilje didn't get a good kick on the ball. Østabø's Ståle Kvarme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Kristian Granlund in the 15th minute of play. Ståle Kvarme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir Utne, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Per-Kristian Granlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ståle Kvarme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ståle Kvarme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Kristian Granlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Per-Kristian Granlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curtis United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 29th minute, Arvid Bugge made a precise shot to the right of Ståle Kvarme. Østabø's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Bugge in the 33rd minute of play forced Østabø's goalkeeper Ståle Kvarme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curtis United played a much better game than Østabø and deserved their victory. The Østabø players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
