Bjørnar Brynildsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Hjelseth's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 14 minutes, Ola Hjelseth made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Austerheim's Bjørnar Brynildsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Inge Østvold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eirik Arnestad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Bjørkvik got a freekick which was hit by Birk Lundemo. After 24 played minutes Austerheim got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Alm. Bjørnar Brynildsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Løchen in the 26th minute. Austerheim's Inge Østvold got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Stian Sødal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eirik Arnestad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bjørnar Brynildsen made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kristoffer Løchen sent off a good shot on target. Bjørnar Brynildsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Hjelseth in the 36th minute of the match. Henrik Skogvoll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Ola Hjelseth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bjørnar Brynildsen, passed just outside the right post. In the 42nd minute, Austerheim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrik Skogvoll fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kristoffer Løchen in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bjørnar Brynildsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bjørnar Brynildsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Hjelseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Austerheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vetle Solsvik to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Kristoffer Løchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjørnar Brynildsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Hjelseth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bjørnar Brynildsen came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bjørkvik's Kristoffer Løchen. When Ola Hjelseth came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bjørkvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Hjelseth couldn't finish the play. Birk Lundemo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bjørnar Brynildsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjørkvik. In the 65th minute, Stian Sødal made a precise shot to the right of Eirik Arnestad. Bjørkvik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Chris Myhr's late challenge caught a Bjørkvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Myhr helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Austerheim got a freekick which was hit by Chris Myhr. Kristoffer Løchen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bjørkvik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austerheim had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
