Andreas Oftedal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thy and Tomren FC's Idar Fjelde got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sommernes FK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hans Syversen hit a great ball. Alexander Larsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Oftedal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 38 minutes, Idar Fjelde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Horgen was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sommernes FK's André Hjelmeland got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Andreas Oftedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Horgen in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Idar Fjelde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thy and Tomren FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Idar Fjelde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Do showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Nerli, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Thy and Tomren FC's Martin Horgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Oftedal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingvar Oppegård's late challenge caught a Thy and Tomren FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Jim Haukland fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sommernes FK's protests and gave Jim Haukland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Jim Haukland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sommernes FK's Andreas Oftedal got control of the ball when Alexander Larsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Thy and Tomren FC's Martin Horgen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Thy and Tomren FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
