Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Linus Flatmo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Andreas Oftedal. Andreas Oftedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phaiakes Bertsimas in the 14th minute of the match. Andreas Oftedal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam-Lucas Raniers went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes Phaiakes Bertsimas rounded Sommernes FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. With a little luck, Sommernes FK's Andreas Oftedal got control of the ball when Sam-Lucas Raniers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes, Theodor Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommernes FK and the FK Norefjell Viking players grew even worse after the yellow card. Theodor Beck hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phaiakes Bertsimas in the 34th minute of play forced Sommernes FK's goalkeeper Andreas Oftedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Sommernes FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sam-Lucas Raniers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sam-Lucas Raniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sommernes FK's Andreas Oftedal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sommernes FK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Sommernes FK defense, Sam-Lucas Raniers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Oftedal. The Sommernes FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Oftedal should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FK Norefjell Viking getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Daniel Kittilsen hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simen Gullaksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sam-Lucas Raniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Oftedal having to interfere. Kevin Michaelsen's late challenge caught a Sommernes FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Michaelsen helped the player get up and apologised. Sommernes FK's Andreas Oftedal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Taranger in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phaiakes Bertsimas in the 68th minute of play forced Sommernes FK's goalkeeper Andreas Oftedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam-Lucas Raniers in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Oftedal saved Sommernes FK from getting behind. Andreas Oftedal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phaiakes Bertsimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Sam-Lucas Raniers made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sommernes FK's Andreas Oftedal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Phaiakes Bertsimas put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andreas Oftedal. Sam-Lucas Raniers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Oftedal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Sommernes FK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martin Løvberg hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Martin Løvberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, FK Norefjell Viking's Nikolai Solstad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Oftedal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Norefjell Viking reached it. When the referee ended the match the FK Norefjell Viking players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
