Sven Wiggen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simen Gullaksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adrian Johanssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Theodor Beck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terje Solbakk skillfully saved the ball. Andreas Oftedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håvard Hasle in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Sven Wiggen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bjørkeåsen IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 67th minute Håvard Hasle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Oftedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sommernes FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Theodor Beck hit a great ball. Sven Wiggen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Oftedal having to interfere. Andreas Oftedal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chris Rosnes charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Rosnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Oftedal had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Håvard Hasle's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Sommernes FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Wiggen came free, but Andreas Oftedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjørkeåsen IF's Håvard Hasle got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Oftedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håvard Hasle in the 95th minute of the match. Håvard Hasle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bjørkeåsen IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
