Spectators: 8418 (Terracing: 6314, Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 168) Jimmy Schrøder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Øvrebø during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute of the match Rikard Foldnes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John-Edvin Tangerud skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Sebastian Salvesen put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute, one of Shankley-boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shankley-boys. When Daniel Smestad came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the 71° Up North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Smestad couldn't finish the play. Anders Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bertel Ådland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shankley-boys's John-Edvin Tangerud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anders Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theodor Kjærvik scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Bruheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second John-Edvin Tangerud throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bertel Ådland in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Shankley-boys's goal looked a bit too open when Bertel Ådland came free, but John-Edvin Tangerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertel Ådland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Drevland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Dahlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marius Bruheim could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Bertel Ådland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John-Edvin Tangerud was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Anders Dahlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Bruheim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Dahlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Marius Bruheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Dahlberg in the 68th minute. Shankley-boys's Anders Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John-Edvin Tangerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertel Ådland, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76th play minutes Bertel Ådland shot 3-1, a short shot which went by John-Edvin Tangerud and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, 71° Up North's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anders Dahlberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marius Bruheim came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Shankley-boys's Anders Dahlberg. But to his dismay, Anders Dahlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The Shankley-boys players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented 71° Up North from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
