Balder Roland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wincenty Pinczewski sped through Saksvik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Balder Roland. In the 18th minute, Hans-Erik Raastad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Björk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balder Roland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Harald Hopp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Utsi in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Saksvik booed when Kongsli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeppe Nyhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Hopp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Ims, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Roy Brenne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Balder Roland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tom Utsi's late challenge caught a Kongsli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Utsi helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Saksvik got a freekick which was hit by Tom Utsi. In the 39th match minute, Saksvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trond Ege to maneuver through the defense. Tim Ims was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Kongsli booed when Saksvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Ims didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balder Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Pinczewski in the 43rd minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wincenty Pinczewski didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 51st minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Wincenty Pinczewski ran dejectedly back to his position. 55 minutes into the match, Storm Alvær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balder Roland. Saksvik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Storm Alvær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Wincenty Pinczewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balder Roland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Børge Moldestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Hopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Børge Moldestad kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Pinczewski in the 63rd minute of play forced Saksvik's goalkeeper Balder Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Saksvik's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Pinczewski came free, but Balder Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Kongsli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saksvik throughout the match.
