In the 4thth minute of the game Cosimo Grilli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Diavoli Rossoneri's Helge Løge got a free kick in the 6th minute. Christian Hatlestad's late challenge caught a Vestfjorden FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Hatlestad helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diavoli Rossoneri's Christian Hatlestad got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Grilli in the 20th minute of play forced Diavoli Rossoneri's goalkeeper Herman Refseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Refseth made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ousmane Diallo sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Diavoli Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Grilli came free, but Herman Refseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosimo Grilli might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Refseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Grilli ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth got control of the ball when Cosimo Grilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Herman Refseth managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Vestfjorden FK's Ousmane Diallo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ousmane Diallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Herman Refseth made a huge save. In the 33rd minute of the match, Ousmane Diallo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herman Refseth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 35 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Thor Hesjedal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Grilli in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herman Refseth saved Diavoli Rossoneri from getting behind. Christian Hatlestad kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Herman Refseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ousmane Diallo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Gundersen was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Diavoli Rossoneri booed when Vestfjorden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Diavoli Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Grilli came free, but Herman Refseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Vestfjorden FK's Cosimo Grilli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Refseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Diavoli Rossoneri defense, Cosimo Grilli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Refseth. The Diavoli Rossoneri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Refseth should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Cosimo Grilli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vestfjorden FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 74 minutes into the match, Diavoli Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Grilli came free, but Herman Refseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Diavoli Rossoneri getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Espen Stava hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Thor Hesjedal. Vestfjorden FK's Jørgen Holmgren was substituted for Cosimo Grilli. Thor Hesjedal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bendik Breistein kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørgen Holmgren in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ousmane Diallo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Refseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes, Jørgen Holmgren made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vestfjorden FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
