Spectators: 8466 (Terracing: 6365, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ousmane Diallo got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Ousmane Diallo. Inge Børresen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Grilli in the 9th minute of play. Dante Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Børresen having to interfere. Inge Børresen came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vestfjorden FK's Cosimo Grilli. But to his dismay, Cosimo Grilli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Inge Børresen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Grilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vestfjorden FK's Cosimo Grilli in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deknepollen's goalie prevented a goal. Inge Børresen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thor Hesjedal went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Deknepollen defense, Cosimo Grilli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Børresen. The Deknepollen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Børresen should have stopped the shot. Jørund Sætra charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jørund Sætra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vestfjorden FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jørund Sætra hit a great ball. Sten Hård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gil Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Inge Børresen was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Cosimo Grilli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosimo Grilli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ousmane Diallo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Børresen saved Deknepollen from getting behind. With his leg Inge Børresen managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Vestfjorden FK's Jørgen Holmgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ousmane Diallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Inge Børresen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deknepollen's Inge Børresen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørgen Holmgren in the 92nd minute of play. Thor Hesjedal might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inge Børresen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thor Hesjedal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute Jimmy Tufte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vestfjorden FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
