Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrik Gundersen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ivar Starheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simen Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Løge in the 17th minute of play. Egil Hussain kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jørund Ingebretsen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon-Egil Nybråten in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Jon-Egil Nybråten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Herman Refseth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herman Refseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Nybråten, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Espen Stava kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jon-Egil Nybråten made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute of the match Diavoli Rossoneri got a corner. Stormblåst's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennart Bergene ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Diavoli Rossoneri's Lennart Bergene to fire away a dangerous shot which Simen Larsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Lennart Bergene's long shot passed Simen Larsson's right side. It was 2-2, 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Oftedal in the 66th minute of play forced Diavoli Rossoneri's goalkeeper Herman Refseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon-Egil Nybråten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Herman Refseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Refseth was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Jon-Egil Nybråten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jon-Egil Nybråten really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A collision led to Stormblåst getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kristoffer Mæland hit a great ball. Kenneth Oftedal in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herman Refseth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Herman Refseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Oftedal in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth got control of the ball when Kenneth Oftedal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espen Stava hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Herman Refseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Egil Nybråten in the 85th minute of the match. When Egil Hussain fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diavoli Rossoneri's protests and gave Egil Hussain a yellow card for diving instead.
