Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jon-Egil Nybråten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reidar Levang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Egil Nybråten in the 3rd minute of the match. Stormblåst's Kenneth Oftedal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reidar Levang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ola Røine kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Polarcirkel Wolverines's Sebastian Tonning got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Ivar Starheim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reidar Levang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reidar Levang came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Stormblåst's Kenneth Oftedal. But to his dismay, Kenneth Oftedal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Tord Gjelstad fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polarcirkel Wolverines's protests and gave Tord Gjelstad a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polarcirkel Wolverines! 28 minutes into the match, Polarcirkel Wolverines's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Nybråten came free, but Reidar Levang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Røine in the 30th minute of play forced Stormblåst's goalkeeper Simen Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jørund Ingebretsen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 32nd minute, Jørund Ingebretsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Polarcirkel Wolverines booed when Stormblåst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Wallach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Polarcirkel Wolverines's zone, Jon-Egil Nybråten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reidar Levang came out of the goal and Jon-Egil Nybråten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Salam Sow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim-André Olsen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Stormblåst got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Nybråten. Ola Røine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Viken to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Stormblåst's Kenneth Oftedal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reidar Levang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 59th minute Jon-Egil Nybråten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reidar Levang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Kenneth Oftedal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Polarcirkel Wolverines's zone, Kenneth Oftedal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reidar Levang came out of the goal and Kenneth Oftedal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simen Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Viken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Jon-Egil Nybråten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the game Mons Storvik made a throw-in which Jørund Ingebretsen played forward. Reidar Levang was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Jon-Egil Nybråten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jon-Egil Nybråten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. If Sebastian Tonning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Stormblåst players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
