Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Markham took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 4th minute of play forced Diavoli Rossoneri's goalkeeper Herman Refseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Refseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kai Østbye went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Diavoli Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Bergene didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Kent Remme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Refseth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Christer Ribe notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth. Herman Refseth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Espen Stava kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Christer Ribe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Brufoss IL's Kent Remme made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Refseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herman Refseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Østbye in the 30th minute of play. Emanuel Markham scored 0-6 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herman Refseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Kent Remme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herman Refseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience was convinced that Kent Remme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Refseth was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 41 minutes Diavoli Rossoneri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Østbye who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kai Østbye almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth did a great save. After having played for 43 minutes, Kai Østbye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brufoss IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Østbye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Diavoli Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Remme came free, but Herman Refseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Helge Løge fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diavoli Rossoneri's protests and gave Helge Løge a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Diavoli Rossoneri got a freekick which was hit by Helge Løge. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When Helge Løge came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Diavoli Rossoneri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Løge couldn't finish the play. Kai Østbyes short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Herman Refseth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herman Refseth came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye. But to his dismay, Kai Østbye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herman Refseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Markham got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-10 in the right cross in the 70th match minute before Herman Refseth had time to react. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Frode Tobiassen replaced Kai Østbye. With his leg Herman Refseth managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute, Åge Gjesdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Herman Refseth managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87th minute, Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Herman Refseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Refseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frode Tobiassen went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Diavoli Rossoneri's Herman Refseth got control of the ball when Frode Tobiassen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Brufoss IL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Diavoli Rossoneri throughout the match.
