Spectators: 8503 (Terracing: 6393, Seating: 1960, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Runar Birkeland got the match started through his kick off. Jimmy Tufte might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mons Bugge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Tufte ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, Vinge's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Tufte came free, but Mons Bugge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deknepollen booed when Vinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Helberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Deknepollen's Mathias Tufte made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mons Bugge was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Mathias Tufte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mons Bugge, 3-0. Jonathan Claussen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inge Børresen. Deknepollen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Runar Birkeland in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Børresen saved Deknepollen from getting behind. After 33 minutes of play, Vinge's Storm Lindvik made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inge Børresen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Deknepollen's Jimmy Tufte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mons Bugge. That made the score 4-1 after 36 minutes of play. Jimmy Tufte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Børresen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Runar Birkeland's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Tufte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Vinge defense, Sten Hård kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mons Bugge. The Vinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mons Bugge should have stopped the shot. If Jimmy Tufte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Jimmy Tufte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Bugge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Deknepollen's Jimmy Tufte in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinge's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th match minute, Vinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Birkeland to maneuver through the defense. Mons Bugge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Tufte in the 67th minute of play forced Vinge's goalkeeper Mons Bugge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Storm Lindvik during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Storm Lindvik hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vinge's Søren Liane got a free kick in the 70th minute. Inge Børresen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Birkeland in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Vinge's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Tufte came free, but Mons Bugge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinge's Mons Bugge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Tufte in the 78th minute of play. Mons Bugge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Tufte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Deknepollen's goalkeeper Inge Børresen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Birkeland. 89 minutes into the match, Mathias Tufte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mons Bugge. Vinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Tufte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 95 minutes of play, Deknepollen's Jimmy Tufte made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mons Bugge was left in no man's land by his defense there!
