Seating: 1966, VIP seats: 150) Mathias Tufte made the kick off and thus started the match. Mons Storvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Inge Børresen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simen Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Tufte in the 8th minute of play. Mathias Tuftes short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Simen Larsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th match minute, Stormblåst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Olberg to maneuver through the defense. Asbjørn Smeland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simen Larsson. Stormblåst's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jon-Egil Nybråten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Tufte got free with Simen Larsson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jimmy Tufte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deknepollen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Tufte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simen Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 minutes, Sten Hård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deknepollen and the Stormblåst players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Deknepollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Hård to maneuver through the defense. Inge Børresen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Stormblåst's Jon-Egil Nybråten. But to his dismay, Jon-Egil Nybråten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Chris Kvamsdal in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stormblåst's Mons Storvik. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Simen Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Tufte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Stormblåst getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mons Storvik hit a great ball. Simen Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Tufte in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stormblåst's Hauk Eikås got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sten Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simen Larsson having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Stormblåst:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deknepollen:s goal. 71 minutes into the game, Stormblåst's Kenneth Oftedal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Børresen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mons Storvik got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute of the game Jørgen Vik made a throw-in which Chris Kvamsdal played forward. In the 79th match minute, Stormblåst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hauk Eikås to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Stormblåst's Inge Børresen threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jon-Egil Nybråten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Olgierd Wallach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inge Børresen. The goal made the score 2-4. When Kenneth Oftedal fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stormblåst's protests and gave Kenneth Oftedal a yellow card for diving instead.
