But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kain Abel couldn't finish the play. Christoffer Skjelstad succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Kanfjellien's goalkeeper Henrik Hordvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Alnes. Kanfjellien's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Kim Alnes scored to the left of an out of position Henrik Hordvik, making the score, 1-5. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kanfjellien's goalkeeper Henrik Hordvik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sturle Åsland having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sturle Åsland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Kain Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sturle Åsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Kain Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sturle Åsland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. 70 minutes into the game, Kanfjellien's Guaberto Valiente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sturle Åsland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sturle Åsland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Hordvik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Kristian Fosse. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kain Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Roman Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
