After 8 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by James Feldthaus. If Rubinho Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Hans-Petter Phan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Grønningsæter. FC Pladask's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Petter Phan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the mixednutz XI defense, James Feldthaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Thorsrud. The mixednutz XI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Thorsrud should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Alexander Markussen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Pladask defense, Rubinho Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Grønningsæter. The FC Pladask fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Grønningsæter should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Trond Soltveit. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Kolek in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Thorsrud saved mixednutz XI from getting behind. FC Pladask were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after mixednutz XI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjetil-André Grønseth took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Pladask's corner Kjetil-André Grønseth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mathias Thorsrud quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Kolek got free with Mathias Thorsrud in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Thorsrud made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Trond Soltveit sent off a good shot on target. Rubinho Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Grønningsæter having to interfere.

After 51 played minutes mixednutz XI got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Novaes. Hans-Petter Phan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Daniel Grønningsæter made a huge save. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Feldthaus in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Thorsrud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubinho Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Grønningsæter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, one of FC Pladask:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 78 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Petter Phan came free, but Daniel Grønningsæter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trond Soltveit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mathias Thorsrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubinho Novaes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Daniel Grønningsæter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for mixednutz XI. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubinho Novaes got free with Daniel Grønningsæter in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Grønningsæter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Novaes in the 87th minute. Rubinho Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Grønningsæter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. The mixednutz XI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing mixednutz XI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
