Spectators: 9219 (Terracing: 6915, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kim Alnes kicked off to start the match. James Feldthaus struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Sturle Åsland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pladask. 5 minutes into the match, Walter Spivey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sturle Åsland. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Spivey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Trond Soltveit came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Trond Soltveit made a precise shot to the right of Sturle Åsland. Åsnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Kim Alnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Trond Soltveit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sturle Åsland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When FC Pladask's Trond Soltveit in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsnes's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter got control of the ball when Roman Bide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åsnes were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after FC Pladask's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kim Alnes took the corner. The corner led Åsnes's Kim Alnes to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Grønningsæter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's James Feldthaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sturle Åsland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, James Feldthaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sturle Åsland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 minutes, Trond Soltveit made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Åsnes's Sturle Åsland tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Spivey came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Grønningsæter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Alnes in the 42nd minute. James Feldthaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Åsnes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pladask were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trond Soltveit was the one to do the kick off. Trond Soltveit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Sturle Åsland made a huge save. Walter Spivey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sturle Åsland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trond Soltveit's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, FC Pladask's Walter Spivey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. James Feldthaus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Sturle Åsland when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cato Mong made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Walter Spivey. Trond Soltveit let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 67th minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Feldthaus got free with Sturle Åsland in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes in the game, Trond Soltveit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sturle Åsland having to interfere. In the 74th minute David Lima suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. John-Einar Bøen hit a great ball. Kjetil-André Grønseth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sturle Åsland. Åsnes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sturle Åsland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Spivey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 80 minute of play. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Necdet Baysu hit a great ball. Kjetil-André Grønseth might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sturle Åsland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjetil-André Grønseth ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsnes's goalkeeper Sturle Åsland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, FC Pladask's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Alnes came free, but Daniel Grønningsæter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cato Mong made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Walter Spivey immediately put the ball in play. Sturle Åsland came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pladask's James Feldthaus. But to his dismay, James Feldthaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. FC Pladask played a much better game than Åsnes and deserved their victory. The Åsnes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
