But to his dismay, Sálvio Ferro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ronny Oppedal came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by KORV's Babe Bonk. But to his dismay, Babe Bonk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 9th minute, Babe Bonk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Oppedal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ronny Oppedal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babe Bonk's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Ronny Oppedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babe Bonk in the 16th minute of play. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sálvio Ferro in the 18th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarjei Flatmo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Ranheim IL got a freekick which was hit by Tarjei Flatmo. Sálvio Ferro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Oppedal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sálvio Ferro ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Ranheim IL defense, Babe Bonk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronny Oppedal. The Ranheim IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Oppedal should have stopped the shot. In the 28th match minute, Ranheim IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarjei Flatmo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Babe Bonk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Oppedal was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Babe Bonk made a precise shot to the right of Ronny Oppedal. Ranheim IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Babe Bonk made the kick off in the second half. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babe Bonk in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ranheim IL's zone, Bård Torstensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Oppedal came out of the goal and Bård Torstensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Babe Bonk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Oppedal. Ranheim IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Babe Bonk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Babe Bonk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Oppedal having to make a save. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sálvio Ferro in the 62nd minute of the match. Ronny Oppedal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Babe Bonk went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babe Bonk got free with Ronny Oppedal in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Ranheim IL's goalkeeper Ronny Oppedal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babe Bonk. In the 73rd minute Sálvio Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Oppedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sálvio Ferro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronny Oppedal. That made the score 0-10 in the 74 minute of play. Ronny Oppedal made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bård Torstensen sent off a good shot on target. Ranheim IL's Ronny Oppedal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ranheim IL from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Sálvio Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Oppedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babe Bonk in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Sálvio Ferro made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Ranheim IL's Ronny Oppedal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Nyqvist in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KORV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
