It was Jim Wærnes who took care of the corner kick. 8 minutes into the match, Felipe Manni dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zemario Minjaraz, 1-0. Chesthair Eagles FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after KORV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Wærnes took the corner. The corner led Chesthair Eagles FC's Leon Vevle to fire away a dangerous shot which Zemario Minjaraz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Chesthair Eagles FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Krister Nordmo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Vincent McVean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemario Minjaraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chesthair Eagles FC booed when KORV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Jansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Salte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leon Vevle succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 41st playminute. 46 minutes into the game, KORV's Babe Bonk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ørjan Heien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Stensen in the 53rd minute of play forced KORV's goalkeeper Zemario Minjaraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zemario Minjaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Vevle in the 60th minute of play.
