When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Roby Baggio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joachim Forseth. Billy Backman hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Costică Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Boeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Manuel Boeru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Costică Peter. Costică Peter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Roby Baggio sped through Saga TF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joachim Forseth. Roby Baggio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joachim Forseth came out and tried to block the shot, but Roby Baggio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 29th minute. Roby Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roby Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roby Baggio in the 41st minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Saga TF's goalie and right to Anthony Barnes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Saga TF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Cantona to make the kick off. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roby Baggio in the 54th minute of the match. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Jon-Inge Kvalvåg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joachim Forseth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brian Laudrup kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roby Baggio in the 62nd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costică Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 63rd minute of play. Rocky Ryland struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Joachim Forseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dum Dum Boys Athletics. 68 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Roby Baggio came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Gvardiol got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Manuel Boeru. After 77 minutes of play, Saga TF's Erik Cantona made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costică Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rocky Ryland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Forseth having to make a save. Erik Cantona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costică Peter came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Cantona slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 82nd minute. Rocky Ryland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Forseth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Rocky Ryland came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dum Dum Boys Athletics were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Saga TF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon-Inge Kvalvåg took the corner. After taking down the ball on Dum Dum Boys Athletics's corner Jon-Inge Kvalvåg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joachim Forseth quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute, Rocky Ryland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dum Dum Boys Athletics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
