The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Suleskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Røvik to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Huilipan came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen. But to his dismay, Emil Berntzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Rodrigo Huilipan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Yue Shi in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Nøttveit to make the kick off.
