Spectators: 10867 (Terracing: 8151, Seating: 2499, VIP seats: 217) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anderson Coelho started the match with the kick off. Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 3rd minute of play. Anderson Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Joachim Forseth made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Giannis Tsovolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emil Berntzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Forseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Erik Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Cantona to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Cantona got free with Theo Machado in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Coelho in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Saga TF's Erik Cantona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Amaral in the 76th minute of play. Λstral Villains FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Berntzen in the 77th minute. Anderson Zonta made a great header on Λstral Villains FC's corner, it was just that Saga TF's Joachim Forseth managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Milko came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Saga TF were awarded a corner. Billy Backman went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson de Amaral in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Forseth saved Saga TF from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Saga TF's Erik Cantona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson de Amaral in the 91st minute of the match. Jefferson de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Laudrup made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen. 95 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson de Amaral came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Saga TF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saga TF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
