Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronny Dagelet kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Sjors de Ridder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klaas Brons came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Amsteleind's Sjors de Ridder. But to his dismay, Sjors de Ridder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Sjors de Ridder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amsteleind's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sjors de Ridder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Herbert Schokkenbroek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Amsteleind's Gerald Saanen. Gerald Saanen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Schut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Herbert Schokkenbroek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sjors de Ridder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaas Brons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Herbert Schokkenbroek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gerald Saanen made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Luiksgestel's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Schut came free, but Klaas Brons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Schut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Onrust kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Emil Mos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Arnout Onrust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Herbert Schokkenbroek came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Luiksgestel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Schokkenbroek couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Amsteleind defense, Reinier van Alst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Saanen. The Amsteleind fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Saanen should have stopped the shot. Herbert Schokkenbroek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gerald Saanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ronny Dagelet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaas Brons was a little too slow when Sjors de Ridder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 79th minute Ronny Dagelet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Saanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Dagelet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerald Saanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Bruno Schut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Amsteleind's Klaas Brons threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Schut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ronny Dagelet hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Amsteleind players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Luiksgestel.
