Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Kelvin Thole managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSV Eindhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelvin Thole was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Woering breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bijsterveld VV getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rudi Kruis hit a great ball. Dries van Persie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Woering read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Kelvin Thole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Woering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Lensen in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PSV Eindhoven's zone, Rudi Kruis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeroen Holst came out of the goal and Rudi Kruis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meindert Hoezen during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bijsterveld VV booed when PSV Eindhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meindert Hoezen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes PSV Eindhoven got a freekick which was hit by Dries van Persie. Casper Woering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Thole in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bijsterveld VV's zone, Hans Zandee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Woering came out of the goal and Hans Zandee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Kelvin Thole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Hans Zandee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Casper Woering was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Tom Bogaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSV Eindhoven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bijsterveld VV the free kick. Tom Bogaard kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Roland Lensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Woering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, PSV Eindhoven's Hans Zandee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Woering narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Kelvin Thole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Woering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 58th match minute, Bijsterveld VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick van Zeggeren to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Kelvin Thole notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bijsterveld VV's Casper Woering. Casper Woering was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of PSV Eindhoven booed when Bijsterveld VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Geurtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Dries van Persie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSV Eindhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dries van Persie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rick van Zeggeren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bijsterveld VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick van Zeggeren couldn't finish the play. In the 78th match minute, Bijsterveld VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Kruis to maneuver through the defense. Casper Woering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelvin Thole in the 80th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bijsterveld VV's goalkeeper Casper Woering, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Zandee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over PSV Eindhoven could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bijsterveld VV throughout the match.
