Sven van Putten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 5th minute of the match Arie Okkes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Roordink showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Harmole HC. Robert-Jan Schild stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wesley Roordink. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Red Bull Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Grommers to maneuver through the defense. Robert-Jan Schild recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martijn Waterreus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Roordink having to interfere. Wesley Roordink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert-Jan Schild, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Wesley Roordink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert-Jan Schild's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Sven van Putten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wesley Roordink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Red Bull Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Giel Fikkers came free, but Wesley Roordink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Martijn Waterreus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Roordink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Peter Dijkstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Arie Okkes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Roordink showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Harmole HC booed when Red Bull Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harmole HC's Giel Fikkers got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Robert-Jan Schild made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Robert-Jan Schild who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Bull Dragons's Wesley Roordink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giel Fikkers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Roordink having to make a save. In the 58th minute, Harmole HC's Martijn Waterreus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Gio Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Grommers, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sven van Putten struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Wesley Roordink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harmole HC. 72 minutes into the match, Red Bull Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Robert-Jan Schild came free, but Wesley Roordink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Harmole HC booed when Red Bull Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robert-Jan Schild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert-Jan Schild recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Dragons's zone, Giel Fikkers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Roordink came out of the goal and Giel Fikkers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ralph Cremers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Dijkstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Roordink having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Harmole HC's Robert-Jan Schild dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Harmole HC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
