When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jelle Panter took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daan Pinksteren to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the game, Roeland Fellinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bloed Aan De Paal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malibu SE the free kick. A collision led to FC Bloed Aan De Paal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Roeland Fellinger hit a great ball. Sebastiaan Dam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jelle Panter got free with Daan Pinksteren in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Rinus Rogaars got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jelle Panter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daan Pinksteren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Remond Boelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daan Pinksteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bloed Aan De Paal's zone, Jelle Panter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daan Pinksteren came out of the goal and Jelle Panter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jurgen Blaauwgeers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonnie van der Schans in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonnie van der Schans made a kick off. Jelle Panter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Panter in the 56th minute of play forced FC Bloed Aan De Paal's goalkeeper Daan Pinksteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostadin Davidov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Daan Pinksteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Malibu SE's Kostadin Davidov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daan Pinksteren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 67thth minute of the game Jelle Panter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bloed Aan De Paal's Daan Pinksteren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kostadin Davidov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daan Pinksteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jelle Panter in the 77th minute of play. Malibu SE's attack was well implemented in the 83rd minute, but when Jelle Panter was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tonnie van der Schans during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tonnie van der Schans kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Kostadin Davidov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malibu SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostadin Davidov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malibu SE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
