Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) BerryAFCA's Jacob Spaan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remco de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tjeerd Bos in the 5th minute of the match. Lucien Bogarde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudewijn Kremer, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jacob Spaan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucien Bogarde having to make a save. Jacob Spaan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucien Bogarde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Evert Hofland came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bubus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Hofland couldn't finish the play. A collision led to BerryAFCA getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jurre Hoekstra hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Andy van der Woude sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Bogarde skillfully saved the ball. Andy van der Woude hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Remco de Jong came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Bubus FC's Evert Hofland. But to his dismay, Evert Hofland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Bubus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Schoonderwoerd to maneuver through the defense. When Rafael Kruiswijk came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the BerryAFCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Kruiswijk couldn't finish the play. Andy van der Woude's late challenge caught a Bubus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy van der Woude helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Andy van der Woude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tjeerd Bos made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Jacob Spaan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lucien Bogarde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 minutes, Dick Daems mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bubus FC and the BerryAFCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Bubus FC got a freekick which was hit by Dick Daems. Remco de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Hofland in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, BerryAFCA's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Hofland came free, but Remco de Jong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play BerryAFCA's Andy van der Woude was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bubus FC booed when BerryAFCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Scheper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Duinhoven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remco de Jong. BerryAFCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, BerryAFCA's goal looked a bit too open when Tjeerd Bos came free, but Remco de Jong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind BerryAFCA's goalkeeper Remco de Jong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacob Spaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Bogarde having to interfere. Tjeerd Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Remco de Jong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BerryAFCA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bubus FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
