Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teo Driessens started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Uithuizen VV's Oscar de Vries nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Han Elders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Uithuizen VV's Jan Daems played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Hofmeester in the 16th minute of play. Jacques Eschendaal kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar de Vries got free with Han Elders in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Han Elders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Driessens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uithuizen VV's goalkeeper Jan Daems, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uithuizen VV's Jan Daems played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stijn Spijker in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Uithuizen VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill van Steensel to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Teo Driessens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Teo Driessens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Han Elders was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Oscar de Vries ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Han Elders was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Teo Driessens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Han Elders managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Uithuizen VV's Oscar de Vries fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Hofmeester was the one to do the kick off. Han Elders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar de Vries went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Oscar de Vries blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Han Elders having to make a save. Teo Driessens took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Han Elders. Han Elders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cadoelen's Han Elders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar de Vries in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Uithuizen VV's goalkeeper Jan Daems had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stijn Spijker. When Brain Baptist came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Uithuizen VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brain Baptist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cadoelen's zone, Oscar de Vries stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Han Elders came out of the goal and Oscar de Vries tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute of the match Marinus Hilhorst shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Han Elders showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th match minute, Cadoelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Eschendaal to maneuver through the defense. Sjors Melis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Han Elders. Cadoelen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacques Eschendaal kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Teo Driessens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Han Elders was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar de Vries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Beuneker in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Han Elders saved Cadoelen from getting behind. In the 90thth minute of the game Teo Driessens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadoelen's Han Elders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Driessens might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Han Elders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Driessens ran back to his position shaking his head. Han Elders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar de Vries, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Stijn Spijker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Uithuizen VV were the better team. Uithuizen VV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
