Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alfred Rensenbrink started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Edwin Collen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Dennis Verweijen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorn Robben scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobus Oosterman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robin Kielstra took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arno Neijsen. Arno Neijsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arno Neijsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Collen in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniël Rueda in the 19th minute of play forced Lettelbert's goalkeeper Arno Neijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniël Rueda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arno Neijsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edwin Collen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniël Rueda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arno Neijsen having to interfere. When Jorn Robben came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Lettelbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorn Robben couldn't finish the play. Harm Ricksen's late challenge caught a Lettelbert's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harm Ricksen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Edwin Collen made a precise shot to the right of Arno Neijsen. Lettelbert's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Daniël Rueda made the kick off in the second half. Lettelbert's Alfred Rensenbrink got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniël Rueda struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arno Neijsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanenberg HC. Jacobus Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Serge Robbermond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanenberg HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lettelbert the free kick. Jacobus Oosterman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfred Rensenbrink went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Alfred Rensenbrink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniël Rueda in the 67th minute of play forced Lettelbert's goalkeeper Arno Neijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Daniël Rueda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arno Neijsen. The goal made the score 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jorn Robben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lettelbert's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorn Robben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobus Oosterman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanenberg HC's Harm Ricksen got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Harm Ricksen off the ground. The supporters of Lettelbert booed when Hanenberg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harm Ricksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jorn Robben came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lettelbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorn Robben couldn't finish the play. If Jorn Robben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Hanenberg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Rensenbrink came free, but Jacobus Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobus Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorn Robben in the 92nd minute of play. Hanenberg HC's Edwin Collen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Robben in the 96th minute of play forced Hanenberg HC's goalkeeper Jacobus Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
