The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tynaarlo's Tonny Heije shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gido Bult but with some difficulty. Heiko Euving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ronney Boys's Gido Bult proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save The Ronney Boys from getting a goal against them. Kristof Deiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Bult having to interfere. Heiko Euving made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gido Bult would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Kristof Deiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gido Bult tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oliver Wessels fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Ronney Boys's protests and gave Oliver Wessels a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, The Ronney Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Wessels to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of The Ronney Boys booed when Tynaarlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennie Sloedingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Euving charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heiko Euving the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tynaarlo's Heiko Euving got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ab Haas, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Kristof Deiman took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gido Bult to make any attempt to save it. Roelof Kort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Wessels in the 36th minute of play. When Kristof Deiman came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tynaarlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Deiman couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Klaus Huizing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gido Bult. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. Gido Bult showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristof Deiman in the 44th minute of the match. Frans Craandijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roelof Kort having to interfere. Bennie Sloedingen was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Tynaarlo's Bennie Sloedingen got a free kick in the 49th minute. In the 50th minute, Rik Ronde sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tynaarlo's Roelof Kort didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

56 minutes into the match, Heiko Euving had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gido Bult. The Ronney Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heiko Euving was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 60th minute Heiko Euving shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gido Bult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frans Craandijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Frans Craandijk managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Ronney Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Craandijk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roelof Kort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Wessels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Roelof Kort made a huge save. When Heiko Euving came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tynaarlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Euving couldn't finish the play. Robbie Grommers kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Frans Craandijk struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Roelof Kort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Ronney Boys. Many of The Ronney Boys's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. The Ronney Boys may have spent more time on the ball, but Tynaarlo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
