Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pieter de Ruijter made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espele's goalkeeper Stephan Euving, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Schiphouwer struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Stephan Euving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Langeberg S.C.. Remond Arends sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Schiphouwer might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stephan Euving. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Schiphouwer ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Remond Arends put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stephan Euving. Eelco van Rijswijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmar Jonge in the 21st minute. Remond Arends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Euving having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Espele got a freekick which was hit by Robert-Jan Lammens. The supporters of Espele booed when Langeberg S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Bekker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Pieter de Ruijter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pieter de Ruijter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Langeberg S.C.'s Eelco van Rijswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter de Ruijter in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Schiphouwer in the 39th minute of play forced Espele's goalkeeper Stephan Euving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephan Euving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remond Arends in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Espele's goal looked a bit too open when Remond Arends came free, but Stephan Euving reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Espele's zone, Remond Arends stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Euving came out of the goal and Remond Arends tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remond Arends to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Remond Arends managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langeberg S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Remond Arends was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Euving breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Langeberg S.C.'s Eelco van Rijswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Jonge in the 54th minute of play. Elmar Jonge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eelco van Rijswijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Espele getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Robert-Jan Lammens hit a great ball. If Kevin Schiphouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eelco van Rijswijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter de Ruijter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmar Jonge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eelco van Rijswijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Langeberg S.C.'s Eelco van Rijswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Jonge in the 67th minute of play. Remond Arends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Euving having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Remond Arends who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espele's Stephan Euving was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stephan Euving made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Remond Arends sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes, Elmar Jonge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espele and the Langeberg S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Espele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Jonge to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Schiphouwer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stephan Euving firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stephan Euving came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Langeberg S.C.'s Kevin Schiphouwer. But to his dismay, Kevin Schiphouwer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Langeberg S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
