Maurits van Basten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Zwartkruis in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex van der Weerden in the 22nd minute of play forced The Young Ones FC's goalkeeper Maurits van Basten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Panheel HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex van der Weerden to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Zwartkruis was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd play minute Kenneth Wortelboer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurits van Basten. 0-2. Maurits van Basten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Collins in the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Otto Zwartkruis took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Maurits van Basten to make any attempt to save it. The Young Ones FC's Maurits van Basten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Zwartkruis in the 65th minute of play. Maurits van Basten came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Panheel HC's Kenneth Wortelboer. But to his dismay, Kenneth Wortelboer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 75th minute, Panheel HC's Otto Zwartkruis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurits van Basten. Maurits van Basten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. With 80 minutes on the clock, Patrick Boon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Maurits van Basten was a little too slow when Eric Hoekstra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 90th minute Otto Zwartkruis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits van Basten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hette de Vlieger hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Young Ones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Otto Zwartkruis scored to the left of an out of position Maurits van Basten, making the score, 0-8. When the match was over Panheel HC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Young Ones FC throughout the match.
