Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filip Roelofs kicked off to start the match. Maurice Baatenburg was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Maarten Zijlstra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maarten Zijlstra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Erik Iepstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daan Baan in the 8th minute of the match. Brain Roorda hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Daan Baan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horzik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorpeind the free kick. A collision led to Horzik getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Daan Baan hit a great ball. Tonnie de Graaf kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Maurice Baatenburg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raymond Onderwater. In the 22nd minute, Horzik's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maarten Zijlstra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daan Baan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erik Iepstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maarten Zijlstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Baatenburg having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Hub Spoel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37thth minute of the game Maarten Zijlstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horzik's Maurice Baatenburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurice Baatenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten Zijlstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maarten Zijlstra in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurice Baatenburg prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maarten Zijlstra to make the kick off. Erik Iepstra made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Franck Thijsse sent off a good shot on target. Maurice Baatenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Klaasens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Horzik's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Zijlstra came free, but Maurice Baatenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Maarten Zijlstra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maurice Baatenburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute of the match Taco Walstra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurice Baatenburg skillfully saved the ball. Maurice Baatenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten Zijlstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Hub Spoel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurice Baatenburg. Horzik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hub Spoel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Maarten Zijlstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Baatenburg having to interfere. Jan Nijhof hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Maurice Baatenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonnie de Graaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gorpeind's zone, Filip Roelofs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Iepstra came out of the goal and Filip Roelofs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorpeind walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
