Spectators: 6050 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Menno Post kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Roelofs in the 4th minute of play forced Noordbroek's goalkeeper Gido Kostermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gido Kostermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menno Post in the 5th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.N.N. United's goalkeeper Jacques de Ridder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Noordbroek's Gido Kostermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menno Post in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Hubert de Coninck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gido Kostermans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Menno Post fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gido Kostermans having to interfere. Menno Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gido Kostermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 55 minutes, Oliver Idelberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.N.N. United and the Noordbroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Noordbroek's Brain Vrede in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.N.N. United's goalie prevented a goal. If Romeo Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
