Stopped with game's Marick Dekkers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Blank in the 4th minute of play. Joost Schophuis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jens Blank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doezum HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Blank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marick Dekkers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marick Dekkers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Blank's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stopped with game's zone, Jens Blank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marick Dekkers came out of the goal and Jens Blank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Kruijs in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marick Dekkers saved Stopped with game from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Batenburg in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marick Dekkers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Kruijs got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marick Dekkers handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 30th minute Jens Blank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marick Dekkers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Blank in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marick Dekkers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marick Dekkers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Kruijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Stopped with game was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joost Schophuis to maneuver through the defense. Jens Blank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marick Dekkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Stopped with game got a freekick which was hit by Mart Hebert. Doezum HC's Jens Blank got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Stopped with game's zone, Iwan Kruijs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marick Dekkers came out of the goal and Iwan Kruijs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Wilco Planting's late challenge caught a Stopped with game's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilco Planting helped the player get up and apologised. Marick Dekkers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Blank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iwan Kruijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Iwan Kruijs in the 63rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marick Dekkers had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A collision led to Stopped with game getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hub Ponk hit a great ball. Jens Blank spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Marick Dekkers grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. If Carel Oevermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geert Degeling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erben Zegers in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Iwan Kruijs made a precise shot to the right of Marick Dekkers. Stopped with game's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Stopped with game booed when Doezum HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Oevermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geert Degeling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erben Zegers, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
